You can open one Smart Saver and Smart ISA account per person, and deposit up to a maximum of £250,000. This maximum balance is spread across your Smart Saver and Smart ISA pots. You can have a maximum of 20 pots.

Your total savings across all accounts you have with us are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000.
