You can withdraw interest on your savings if:

  • You have a Smart Saver and the interest earned has been paid into an Access pot.

  • You have a Smart ISA and the interest earned has been paid into an Access ISA pot.

You can’t withdraw interest on your savings if:

  • You have a Smart Saver and the interest earned has been paid into a Boosted pot. To withdraw money from a Boosted pot, you'll need to give notice. Once the notice period ends, your Boosted pot will become an Access pot.

  • You have a Smart ISA and the interest earned has been paid into a Fixed Term ISA pot. If you want access to your Fixed Term ISA pot before the end of the term, you can pay an interest charge to break the fixed term early.
